TubInTrain
TubInTrain is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network (European Join Doctorate) project and it takes part of Horizon 2020 programme.
This project wants to supply a transdisciplinary view of the tubulin-targeting strategy for neuron functionality.
In this project are involved 10 research groups, 9 European Universities, 2 Research Institute, 9 Companies around 6 European Countries and 13 PhD students.
TubInTrain gives the PhD students the possibility to carry out their research in a real multidisciplinary context. Each student is involved in the same project and works in a synergistic way in order to face the different aspects and problems of the research.
It’s possible to follow the project on the website www.tubintrain.eu
PAPRIKANET.IT
PAPRIKANET.IT has been financed by Regione Basilicata through the Operating Program FESR aimed to promote economic growth and improve the capacity for innovation to qualify Basilicata as an open, attractive, competitive, inclusive and cohesive territory.
The project’s main aim is to develop population management models of plant species and suitable methodologies for the characterization of functional and nutraceutical substances.
GlycoSwitch
GlycoSwitch is an ERC Starting Grant 2019 project that aims to provide a holistic picture of the manifold mechanisms of host responses to microbial infections, with a special focus on Gram-negative bacteria.
The ultimate goal of GLYCOSWITCH project is to unlock attractive opportunities for the development of host-directed strategies to boost the immune response or reverse pathogen-induced immunosuppression.
NA.DIA.
(bioactive NAtural products against DIAbetes) has been financed by the University of Catania Research Program (PIA.CE.RI-2020-2022) -Starting Grant. α-glucosidase and α-amylase inhibition is an established protocol for Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) therapy.
Because hyperglycemia causes oxidative tissue damage, the development of agents with both α-glucosidase, α-amylase inhibition and antioxidant activity from natural or natural-derived polyphenols represents an attractive therapeutic option. The project aims to evaluate the metabolic enzymes inhibition activity and the antioxidant capacity of a library of derivatives of chlorogenic acid.
